How to Turn off Comments on Instagram Live as Host

On your device, open the Instagram app, scroll right to see the stories area, and select live.
Tap the three dots in the comment box on the bottom panel of your screen once you are Live on Instagram. There will be a menu.
The 'Turn off commenting' menu item can be selected.
Your Instagram live stream's followers can not leave comments.
